This story tells the tale of Peanut, a destitute stray dog, who was extremely underweight when discovered roaming the streets of Dumaguete, Philippines. Thankfully, she was rescued by compassionate individuals who took her to an animal hospital.
Upon examination, it was determined that she had a compromised immune system, but tested negative for distemper. Fortunately, her appetite returned, which was an encouraging sign as she was placed in foster care.
Being in a foster home aided her in regrowing most of her fur within just 3 weeks, with the comfort of a cozy bed, nurturing support, and affection. We remain hopeful that she will soon find a permanent forever home.
